Responsibilities:
As part of our architecture team, you will be involved in the development and implementation of our enterprise software and system architecture. You will be responsible for requirement analysis, design, prototyping, mentoring, as well as development and troubleshooting of critical system components.

Qualifications:
- Computer Science or equivalent Degree
- Top-notch interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability to work cohesively in a team environment
- Minimum 5 years experience developing enterprise solutions in Oracle
- Minimum 3 years experience designing Enterprise Database models
- Extensive experience in the areas of database design (ER Studio), PL/SQL and queries, performance tuning, triggers, views, functions, and query debugging
- Extensive experience in DW design and ETL processing
- Required experience in database administration, user and schema administration, backup procedures, table space management, file system management
- Experience with RAC and VPD preferred.
- Required intermediate knowledge of Java programming in JSE, J2EE, Weblogic / Oracle environments
- The drive to take responsibility for creating quality software

Job Description:
Summary:
The User Interface Design Analyst is an analytic problem solver who can synthesize user research, user interface design principles and business requirements into well designed, intuitive solutions for health care applications.

The User Interface Design Analyst is primarily responsible for leading User Research, User Interface Design, and Usability Evaluation activities within an iterative product lifecycle.

User Research activities include planning and conducting field studies at client sites to produce user analyses artifacts (e.g., user profiles, personas, user needs), work flow and task analyses artifacts (e.g., user scenarios) and user requirements.

Scope:
User Interface Design activities include creating and iterating static and interactive graphic design models (e.g., User Interface Screen Shots, Storyboards, Prototypes, etc.,) and authoring detailed User Interface Specifications.

Tools used include: Photoshop, Flash, Power Point, Visio, HTML, etc.

Usability Evaluation activities include performing Usability Tests with end users, and conducting User Interface Peer Reviews.

The User Interface Design Analyst will be a member of the Product Management organization consisting of Product Managers, Business Analysts, and User Interface Designers.

Requirements:
* 4+ years experience in user interface design, building systems solutions and deployment of business requirements to information systems.
* 4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
* Exceptional Graphic Design Skills. Candidate must have the ability to take technical specifications and produce exceptional screen graphic designs.
* Work Ethic. Candidate must have the willingness to do the work to meet goals and deadlines.
* Motivation: Unfaltering drive to improve quality of the client's user experience.
* Vision: Has an opinion regarding user interface design principles and standards and will always put the user first when making decisions.
* Recommend Practical Solutions: Ability to formulate realistic and practical solutions after identifying problems.
* Vision: Able to suggest realistic and practical ways to improve the current processes and procedures.
* Team Player: Must be able to work in a multidisciplinary team made up of Product Managers, Business Analysts, Software Architects, and Software Engineers, and build positive working relationships. Realistic and Practical about the give and take of real-world software design.
* Quick Learner: Able to adapt to new processes and environments quickly and in a positive manner.
* Documentation: Willing to spend significant time generating and refining UI designs and design specifications.
* Coding Ability: Understanding of current software development coding processes a must. Being able to develop user interface designs in any type of code environment is a plus.
* Portfolio showing current design work required

Our client is looking to hire an experienced software development Project Manager to join their Burnaby development team.

Duties:
* Be responsible for all aspects of the development/implementation of a systems project or program involving department or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of a computer-based system from the design process through a finished state for internal/external customers.
* Provides a single point of contact for projects.
* Takes projects from original concept through final implementation.
* Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, computer services, and client services.
* Defines project scope and objectives.
* Oversees/coordinates all aspects of project and serves as project manager between clients, systems, line management and other departments.
* Plans and directs schedules as well as project budgets.
* Monitors the product/program/project from initiation through delivery, interfacing with customer on technical and non-technical matters.

Our client has an immediate opening for a Customer Support Engineer in their Richmond BC office.

As a Customer Support Engineer, you will have the opportunity to utilize your programming background and experience to solve
second and third tier customer and development partner cases. You will be a key technical and application representative in a support team working with our client's partners, customers and development teams.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
** Provide direct development partner and customer support and follow-up by troubleshooting cases and debugging product code.
** Assist third party development partners with product requirement definition, design, system testing and quality assurance, readiness assessment and certification.
** Serve as the voice of the customer in inter-departmental discussions regarding product defects, performance, product stability, technology, and enhancement issues.
** Provide input into the product development life cycle.
** Assess employee needs and provide input towards the development of training courses.
** Suggest improvements to the Customer Support offerings, policies and procedures.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
** Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent experience.
** Strong written and verbal communication skills.
** 2 to 4 years with C, C++, Accpac SDK, Visual Basic (Delphi or Foxpro experience an asset). .NET preferred.
** Oracle, DB2, Pervasive, MS-SQL DBA and/or MSCE/MSCI certification or equivalent experience desired.
** 2 to 4 years customer support experience.
** 2 to 4 years implementation experience an asset.
** 2 to 4 years of relevant industry experience with accounting, CRM, or other business applications w/appropriate certifications an asset.
** Business analysis skills an asset.
